We loved our stay here. Such a convenient location for everything. The staff were really helpful and welcoming. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. There is some street noise but, with the window closed, we were not troubled by noise. There are lots of stairs but we are fit, so not a problem. The communal lounge and the breakfast area are lovely and there are nice views over the square. The breakfast was delicious and the opportunity to help yourselves homemade cake and drinks in the lounge is a lovely touch. We hope to return.
FLH (Feels like home)...one got to the room by walking a up 3 flight of stairs, and the bathroom was across the hall. So felt like a local living at home. The outside area is always busy and full of folks, meeting up for tours, stopping for Ginga as well as a local hangout area for folks. There was local police presence so as a female traveller felt comfortable to walk around. The staff were lovely and very cordial. The shared lounge was cosy and very comfortable. Loved the homemade cake that was made available after 5pm every day. Very warm touch.
